inside smells, slow service and over priced
A fried combo plate served only with fries 18.50! For the price there are a lot better seafood joints on the causeway. I was very disappointed and will spend my money elsewhere next time.
If you are going to advertise that you are mobiles seafood shouldnt you at least have flounder on the menu???

Tasty Food
EDs has tasty food and unique dishes. You can eat inside or out, both with views of Mobile Bay. They bring out slaw and crackers when you sit down so that you have something to munch on while you are waiting for you food. Attentive service as well.

FANTASTIC
Just ate at Ed's last evening - I can say that without exception this is a fantastic restaurant. My husband and I had the shrimp - one fried - one grilled and it was fantastic. They advertise that it is Alabama Wild Shrimp, which pleases us. Ed's starts you out with all of the cole slaw you want - GREAT SLAW - Atmosphere inside is great - Too much on the walls to see in one trip. Outside view spectacular - Service was prompt - Had to wait for a seat at 7:30 PM but we were kept informed and the wait was definately worth it - Go to Ed's and I promise you won't be dissappointed

Mostly good, but have had some bad food there. Usually good food. Nice service and location. Worth trying.

Great by Chad G. at InsiderPages
Gotta try Ed's if you are in Mobile. Great seafood, like all the causeway restaurants. Save room for some dessert, you'll be glad you did. May be crowded, but worth the wait

Great Seafood Restaurant for the entire family by Rose B. at InsiderPages
If you are in Mobile and want to take your amily to a really fantastic family restaurant you must stop here. Come early though they are always packed. Get the Yo Mamas platter. Enough to feed 2 adults and 2 small children. Lots of seafood and you get great side items with it and a desert for one but big enough to share. For $30.00 this is well worht the trip there. Arrive early on weekend enjoy music, the bar and the view on the bay. It is a must see place!

The food here is just excellent home styled seafood. It is SO good. The views of Mobile Bay are breathtaking. The prices are edging up towards not more...
