Hamburger King

Oh goodness gracious me! I had a friend bring one back for me and it was the best, absolutely the best, beyond the best, burger I have ever eaten. I stopped ordering burgers about 10 years ago because they were all uniformly boring, chewy and bland. This was a taste of heaven. If you are in Montgomery, your're blessed. Go. Eat. Enjoy.

HK has the best burgers to be found for miles. They've been described as greasy, but I didn't find that to be the case. They are, however, very messy and do require a lot of napkins. The messiness comes from the condiments (they are not shy, you won't have to ask for extra) and the juicy tomatoes and pickles they use.

The place is small with a few tables. All I ever done was take out. Best to either call early or late cuz prime time is really, really slammed. I think you can get a hotdog (never seen anyone order one) and there are no fries. Chips and drinks are available. Prices are very reasonable.

If you are looking for fine dining, look elsewhere. If you are looking for an excellent hamburger at a reasonable price, this is the place. Highly recommend.

This is a small, family owned business so if your are looking to try them around any of the popular holidays, call ahead because there are times they close for a week at a time. Bummer for me, but I don't blame them!!

You will never have a better burger. They are homemade and have the most delicious taste. I have never had a better burger in my life.

I read these reviews and I just had to go try this place while I was in Montgomery. I found out the day before I left that it closes at 3:00, so I ended up going at 9am on my way to the airport and it was well worth it.

They use fresh meat and I saw them cutting the onions by hand. The lettuce is chopped up like it is for salad rather than one big piece, and you can get huge juicy tomatoes! The owner and his wife were working and serving, That was one of the best burgers I have ever eaten, and it cost me less than $3. (There was a bigger burger for a little more) They have nothing else on the menu - no fries, appetizers or anything and the place is certainly a hole in the wall - but I will be there every time I visit Mongomery for sure!

I ate at Hamburger King for the first time today. I couldn't believe the crowd. I did not call in my order which was a mistake. I waited about 30 minutes but when I got my Deluxe CheeseburgerWOW.
Best one I have ever eaten and in my 59 years that says a lot.

God, I remember them from days working downtown 30 years ago. Best around then by far! Hope the place is still doing a great business! Would love to have one right now.

You'll need lots of napkins! The burger is huge and greasy! I watched the cook throw some meat on the grill, salt and pepper it, and put a weight on top of it. I went to Williams-Sonoma and found the weight and now I can do a pretty good job of emulating the burger. But there's nothing like the real thing!

They serve one of the best hamburgers that I have ever eaten. The burgers are very greasy and fattening so if you are dieting I would steer away from this establishment. However if you are looking for a good burger try Hamburger King. Always call in your order before you go because they are always slammed. So if you don't call before you go prepare to wait.

If you are looking for a messy, great burger, this is the place! Their menu is very limited. You can only get a hamburger or cheeseburger, but they are the best!

Well it ain't for nothing they'll call this place Hamburger King.
