Brick Pit The

I really, really, really wanted to like this place. Ate there several times, ordered different things, but after a year of trying, I have to give up.
I LOVE the friendly people there, their potato salad and their banana pudding is out of this world. Go there for these things!
On the other hand, their bbq is bad. The meat is bland, yet too smokey at the same time. Their sauces are awful and I always feel ill and disappointed after eating here.
I wish I could recommend a place in town to go to for good BBQ, but I've yet to find a good one, so I guess we'll just have to keep driving a few hours to satisfy our cravings. :(

Don't know where this person ate but it wasn't at The Brick Pit BARBEQUE!!!! Find our menu at www.brickpit.com. We have ribs, pulled pork, chicken, and homemade sides. Oh, and excellent banana pudding. Definitely not onion soup with a biscuit.

The sauce is not bad but not rel good either.They do give large portions and the price is not bad.The service pretty good

The ribs are great. The flavor is incredible. We sometimes stop by and pick some up for home parties. Our children like them too.

Ok I have to admit it has been a while since I have eaten there since they are 30-40 minutes from my work. The last time I ate there I had a sandwich and Onion soup. The sandwich was satisfactory, you cant mess up a sandwich. The soup was good it was served with a biscuit served in the center of the onion soup. Tast was right on with not being too salty, but just the right amount of flavor. Ok lunch sopt reasonably priced.
